Money Mastery Coaching

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions you may be asking yourself:

What is financial coaching?

A financial coach is like a personal trainer for your financial life. We help you discover the rules for success and guide you through the steps needed to build financial “muscle.” A good coach encourages, supports, and inspires you to be your best financial self so that you can be free of the worry and stress that so often surrounds money. As a result, you can live the life you really want to live.

Money Mastery Coaching clients either choose one-on-one financial coaching or group coaching.

If you’re tired of being held back by money, if it feels like money problems are frequently impacting your life in a negative way, if you’re worried about paying off debt and preparing for retirement, or if you’re simply not reaching the financial goals you would like to reach, financial coaching can help lift you out of your current circumstances and enable you to build the wealth you desire.

Money Mastery Coaching specializes in working with small business owners that have been in business for 3 or more years. By that point, you likely have the stability and surplus cash flow you need to take full advantage of financial coaching, while also experiencing the money stress and challenges of business ownership.

The group coaching program is tailored to small business owners and other individuals who are hungry to be proactive in their financial lives and make faster progress toward achieving their goals. If you want to gain greater financial understanding, interact with like-minded people, and get the accountability to ensure you meet your goals, group coaching is for you.

You can expect to greatly accelerate your financial success. Coaching provides the means for you to set goals, determine appropriate timelines for accomplishing those goals, and simple action steps to make great progress quickly. You’ll have the support and accountability to work through any resistance and challenges that you encounter as you seek to improve your financial life.

Our clients consistently report that they have an increased understanding of personal financial management, confidence and peace of mind when it comes to their money, and an elevated sense of awareness about what motivates their actions to work toward their life’s goals with passion and purpose.

For one-on-one financial coaching, sessions typically take place during the business day. Although in some situations our coaches can make arrangements to meet later in the evenings.
For our group coaching, we typically hold training calls in the evening at 7 p.m. Mountain Time.

Coaching is a unique experience for each client. We tailor our one-on-one financial coaching fees to match what each client is trying to accomplish and over what timeframe we engage in coaching.

The goal of our application and consultation process is to make sure that you are ready to be coached and that our coaches are going to be able to help you get the results you are seeking as quickly as possible.

The financial coaching application process consists of an initial free discovery call via Zoom. You’ll share your top 3 financial goals and top 3 financial challenges with us, as well as any experiences with financial coaching in the past.

We’ll also discuss your financial situation which includes income, value of your assets, debts and approximate living expenses. Based on the conversation, we’ll determine if the one-on-one coaching is a good fit and then begin our engagement.

Since one-on-one financial coaching is such a personal experience, it is crucial that we have a chance to get to know each other before you take the next steps.

Your free discovery call will be spent getting to know you, your biggest financial challenges and goals, and giving you a sense of how coaching works. You will receive clarity around your financial roadmap and will discuss the next steps in your journey toward wealth.

You should review all your financial matters before your discovery call, so you are familiar with your income, expenses, amount in savings, amount you are putting toward savings and investments, amount of debt and the type of debt you have (i.e. credit cards, student loans, car loans, home loans, etc.), and any other area of your financial life that you’re looking for help with.

The more time you invest, the faster you will see results toward accomplishing your goals. Part of the application process is ensuring that you’re willing and able to make the investment of your time that’s necessary to get the results you want.

For our group coaching program, you can expect to invest 2-3 hours for training and assignments per week. For one-on-one coaching, expect to invest 3-6 hours per week for the first 4 weeks. After that, your time investment will typically reduce to 1-2 hours per week.
